Qualitative studies are important parts of research in human science and, in recent years, this approach has flourished in medical research. Validity and reliability of data is one of the most challenging problems in qualitative studies. The truth is the qualitative researchers, like quantitative researchers, seek to strengthen their data and for this purpose they take some indicators into consideration. Most of the citations in the relevant literature refer to Goba and Lincoln (1994), who have mentioned 4 indicators, namely credibility, dependability, confirmability and transferability. This study explains these four indicators with the ways they can be achieved in order to improve data integrity.
