Abstract

‌‌‌Background and Aims:During pregnancy,physical,mental,social health and quality of life was changed.Measuring quality of life is important in planning for the care of mothers and infants. The aim of this study was to determine Investigating The Relationship Between Quality Of Life And Pregnancy Outcomes.
Materials and Methods: This descriptive-analytical study was performed in 2019 on 150 pregnant women referring to health centers in Bojnourd. Data collection tools included demographic and midwifery form, pregnancy results form, quality of life questionnaire-36SF. By referring to health centers, women with inclusion criteria were selected and with informed consent, questionnaires were distributed and collected and followed up until delivery and after delivery, birth outcomes were completed based on the infant's record. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 23 statistical software and non-parametric Mann-Whitney U and Spearman correlation tests. P value less than0.05 was considered significant.
Results: The mean score of quality of life was(32.40±15.22). There was a significant and direct relationship between the quality of life and gestational age at birth(p=0.000), type of delivery(p =0.006) first minute Apgar score(p=0.000), fifth (p=0.000) And neonatal outcome(p=0.000)
Conclusion: Considering the importance of quality of life in pregnant women and its impact on the growth of infant and his health in the future, so planning and appropriate educational measures to increase quality of life and its various dimensions During pregnancy and consequently, improving the level of health and improving the results of pregnancy seems necessary.
