Universities are more willing to give positions to senior and older professors. They focus too much on resumes and CVs rather than anything else, especially in developing countries. This policy makes it hard for younger scientists and academics to start their academic journey. This trend is not only detrimental to young scholars but also to society and young generations. Knowledge is not a giant repository of information to expand, but it needs to be used by humans and transferred through generations. In this, we highlighted the potential loss of individuals who opt out of pursuing rigorous academic paths due to these barriers, which could negatively affect the expansion of knowledge. We should consider this fact that the knowledge is nothing without humans using it. Knowledge should work for humans; not humans for knowledge. Sacrificing younger academics to make the knowledge body fatter seems to be a wrong idea in today’s world.
