Introduction: Communication is one of the most important daily activities foreach individual and communicating with teachers is a major cornerstone in university, which plays an important role for students inachieving their goals. . Understanding effective characteristics influencing thiscommunicationcan make the planners familiar with the strengths and weaknesses, and improve educating – learning process.The purpose of this research is introducing the effective factors on student – teacher communication from student's point of view
Methods& materials: Cross – sectional study, on 165 nursing students in Sabzevar University of Medical Science in 1392 who was elected according to Morgan table. Questions include in three scopes : individual scope(12question), professional(14 question), and scientific(6 question). Data were analyzed with spss 15. Also, descriptive statistics (Average - variance) and methods of analysis used to test the correlation at the 0.05 level.
Results: The study results showedthateffective communication between femalesandmales is numerous and high between males.Respecting the students (4.59 ± 0.65) , communion with students (4.56 ± 0.69), fairness in dealing with students (4.51 ± 0.69) were more effective, and age (3.55 ±.98),gender(3.68 ± 1.06), history of research activity (3.83 ± 1.09), planing course (3.68 ± 1.09) were less effective.
Conclusion: Communication skillsandhuman relationsplay an important role instudent – teacher communication.Respecting the students andcommunionwith them, fairness indealing withstudents and trying tosolvetheir problems have the greatest impact andAge, gender, history ofresearch activities, educational degreeofteachers andproviding lessonplanshave lowerimpact onthe relationshipbetween teacherandstudents
