Assess the relationship between the feeling of homelessness and academic performance in the students of Tehran University of Medical Sciences’s dormitories in the academic year 2022-2023

Abstract

This was done with the aim of investigating the role of self-esteem in research with satisfaction from the field of study with resilience and loneliness in a cross-sectional descriptive-analytical way. The research project was of analytical modeling. This research was conducted with the participation of 384 students of Tehran University of Medical Sciences in the academic year of 1401-1402 as participants in the research. For research measurements, USRS self-esteem questionnaire, resilience questionnaire, loneliness questionnaire, academic field satisfaction questionnaire, demographic information researcher questionnaire, and structural equation methods with the help of smart pls software were used to check the hypotheses.The results indicate that satisfaction with the field of study has a positive and significant effect on students' resilience, or in other words, there is a significant relationship between satisfaction with the field of study and students' resilience and loneliness. Finally, it can be concluded that according to the findings of the research, there is a significant difference between the degree of satisfaction with the field of study among the people studied based on the grade point average and the field of study. In fact, the results show that having a higher grade point average in education increases students' satisfaction with their field of study. Also, the level of satisfaction with the field of study of people is different based on the field of study. In fact, people who have a better field of study based on the society's approach will have higher satisfaction with their field of study.
