Prevalence And Pattern of Microbial Resistance of Quinolone-resistant Urinary Pathogens In Imam Ali and Shahid Rajaei Hospitals in Karaj

Abstract

Background and Objective: Infectious tract disease (UTI) (infection in any part of the infectious system including kidneys, ureters, bladder and infectious duct). Most of the diseases include diseases with this disease. Women are more at risk than men. The first line of treatment is the use of fluquinolones (such as ciprofloxacin and levofloxacin), which are currently associated with high resistance according to reports.
Materials and Methods: The present study was a cross-sectional study. In this study, the results of disease analysis and the biogram of the disease were evaluated.
Results: The results obtained from the examination of 240 patients showed that the highest rate of Escherichia coli was 45% (The most prevalence), klesiela 40% and other bacteria 15%. There were different biotic characteristics in this study to antibiotics Colestin and Linezolid (100%).
Conclusion: For the treatment of infectious diseases, fluoroquinolones are not considered as the first line of treatment due to their resistance and antibiotics such as amikacin.
