This study aimed to determine the relationship between the level of lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) in serum with anemia in children and women as a systematic and meta-analytic review. Materials and Methods: This was a meta-analytic study on 16 studies associated with serum Pb and Cd level in children and women. The concentration of both metals was obtained from articles published in prestigious journals during 2001 to 2016. The data were analyzed using the Dormisonian and Lerid methods in the metafor package of R software. Results: The results showed that the mean of Pb and Cd in the case group was more than control group. Meanwhile, the lowest mean of reported Pb in the case group was 0.31 in Turkey and the lowest mean Cd in a study of Egypt was 0.01. Also, the results showed that concentration of heavy metals of Pb and Cd was related to the condition of anemia and  caused significant increase in both metals’ concentration . (p <0.05). Conclusion: Meta-analysis showed that in patients with anemia, the level of Pb and Cd was 3.55 and 1.74 respectively, more than control group. Also, the Q-test was highly significant and indicative of heterogeneity of the impact size in different studies}, keywords = {Anemia,lead,cadmium,meta-analysis}, title_fa = {بررسی سطح سرمی فلزات سرب و کادمیوم با میزان فقرآهن و کم‌خونی در کودکان و زنان: یک مرور نظام‌مند و متاآنالیز}, abstract_fa = {زمینه و هدف: افراد دچار آنمی در برابر آلودگیهای محیطی از جمله فلزات سنگین آسیبپذیرتر میباشند و این مواد میتواند سلامت این افراد را با خطر مواجهه کند. هدف از این مطالعه بررسی ارتباط سطح سرمی فلزات سرب و کادمیوم با میزان کمخونی در کودکان و زنان به صورت یک مرور نظاممند و متاآنالیز میباشد. مواد و روش ها: این مطالعه یک مطالعه متاآنالیز میباشد که بر روی 16 مطالعه در رابطه با ارتباط سطح سرمی فلزات سرب و کادمیوم در کودکان و زنان جمعآوری شده است. میزان غلظت این فلزات از مقالاتی که در طی سالهای 1380 تا 1395 در مجلات معتبر منتشر شده بودند، بدست آمد. دادههای بدست آمده با استفاده از روش درسیمونیان و لرید در پکیج metafor از نرمافزار R آنالیز گردید. یافتهها: نتایج نشان داد که میانگین سرب و کادمیوم در گروه افراد دارای کمخونی بیش از گروه کنترل بود. از این میان، کمترین میانگین سرب گزارش شده در گروه مورد آزمایش با 31/0 در کشور ترکیه و کمترین میانگین کادمیوم در یک مطالعه انجام شده در کشور مصر با مقدار 10/0 بدست آمد. همچنین نتایج بدست آمده نشان داد که میزان غلظت فلزات سنگین سرب و کادمیوم در سطح سرمی با وضعیت کمخونی و آنمی ارتباط داشته است و بهطور معنیداری سبب افزایش غلظت این فلزات شده است (05/0>p). نتیجهگیری: متاآنالیز مطالعات نشان داد که در بیمارانی که دچار کمخونی بودهاند، میزان فلز کادمیوم و سرب بهطور متوسط 74/1 و 55/3 انحراف معیار بیش از افراد گروه کنترل بوده است و همچنین آزمون Q-test شدیداً معنیدار بود که بیانگر ناهمگن بودن اندازه تأثیر در مطالعات مختلف است.}, keywords_fa = {کم‌خونی,سرب,کادمیوم,متاآنالیز}, url = {https://beyhagh.medsab.ac.ir/article_1068.html}, eprint = {https://beyhagh.medsab.ac.ir/article_1068_572bd9399a8dbfd07582ee053bad83af.pdf} }
